PRINT ON DEMAND

Best Print on Demand Suppliers in India (Honest Comparison)

By Nishkarsh Sharma

Short answer: for Indian print on demand, start with an established fulfillment company like Qikink, which we use ourselves, or alternatives like Blinkstore, Printrove, or Vendorboat. Expect to pay around 400 to 450 rupees per t-shirt including printing, shipping, and GST, sell at 700 to 900, and always order a sample for yourself before committing to any supplier.

Best Print on Demand Suppliers in India: Read This First

One of the most common questions I get is this. "Indian print on demand karna hai, best supplier kaun sa hai?"

Fair question, because your supplier is half your business. They print your design, ship to your customer, collect your COD payments, and handle your returns. Pick wrong, and no amount of good marketing saves you.

I have been running print on demand businesses since 2017, our businesses have crossed 50 crore in revenue, and our community has hundreds of students running Indian print on demand right now. So what follows is not a list copied from other blogs. It is what we use ourselves, and what I keep hearing, good and bad, from people actually running these businesses every day.

What a Print on Demand Supplier Actually Does

Before the list, understand what you are choosing. A print on demand fulfillment company connects to your Shopify store through an app. When an order comes in, they print your design on the product, pack it, ship it to your customer, collect the payment if it is COD, and transfer your money in payment cycles through their dashboard. You never touch the product. That full automation is why we call them fulfillment partners, and it is what separates these companies from a local printer.

1. Qikink (What We Use)

Qikink is my first recommendation, and it is the supplier we use in our own businesses. I have met the founder and the team, they are based in South India with genuinely large printing and shipping facilities, and they have been in the market for years.

What you get: around 180 GSM fabric on standard t-shirts, multiple printing methods including screen printing, DTF, and DTG digital printing, with pricing depending on which method your design needs. All included, printing, shipping, and GST, a typical two or three color A4 size design on a t-shirt costs around 400 to 450 rupees. Their Shopify app shows you every order, prepaid or COD, returns, and your bank transfers in one dashboard, and their remittance is reliable, COD money reaches you on a regular payment cycle.

The dashboard is not the prettiest in the world compared to US platforms, but nothing about it will block your work. Product range goes far beyond t-shirts: hoodies, mugs, crop tops, kidswear, mousepads, posters, stickers, bottles, and more.

2. Blinkstore

Blinkstore runs two models. The first is like Teespring in the US: they give you a free subdomain store, your brand name dot blinkstore dot in, and you can start selling on it without even building a Shopify site, which makes it one of the fastest free starting points. The second, added more recently, is a standard Shopify integration, so you can use them as a fulfillment partner the same way you would use Qikink. I have heard good things about them from the community, and they are worth checking, especially if you want the zero cost subdomain route to test your first designs.

3. Printrove

Printrove is one of the oldest players in Indian print on demand, with one of the widest product ranges in the market. I have not used them personally. I will be honest with you the same way I am in my videos: the feedback I hear from my community on their quality, delivery times, and support has been mixed, while other people report fine experiences. So my advice is not to rule them out, but to test them the way you should test every supplier on this list, order samples first and judge with your own eyes before routing your store through them.

4. Vendorboat

Vendorboat is the newest name on this list. Fewer people in my community use them, but the ones who do have said good things. If you are comparing options, add them to your sample testing round and see how their quality and pricing stack up for your specific products.

How to Find Independent Local Suppliers

Maybe you look at these rates and think, I want cheaper, I want an independent supplier. That is a valid route, and here is how it actually works.

Search for t-shirt suppliers near you, or search print on demand fulfillment company, and you will find smaller operations that do the same work as the big four, often at slightly lower rates. Ask communities of people already running print on demand, recommendations travel fast there, we found the independent supplier we are currently testing through our own network. Instagram also has supplier accounts worth checking.

The trade off: you will probably not get a polished dashboard and automated app. You will run orders over sheets and messages. The system still works, it is just more manual. And the quality check is the same as always, samples first.

The One Rule: Always Order a Sample

People overthink this constantly. How do I check quality? How do I know the print will be good? Simple: order the product for yourself. Upload your design, place an order to your own address, pay the 450 rupees, and wear the t-shirt. Check the fabric, the print quality, the positioning, the packaging, the delivery time. Order from two or three suppliers and compare with your own hands. That one small investment answers every question no review can.

My Recommended Approach

Start with one of the established fulfillment companies, whichever feels right after your sample test. Yes, an independent supplier might save you 30 or 50 rupees a piece, but in the beginning, automation and reliability are worth far more than a slightly better rate. Sell your t-shirt at 700 to 900, and mind your margins, at these supplier costs, pricing below 700 makes profit genuinely hard after ad costs.

Then, once you have volume, two things happen. Your fulfillment company gives you better rates as your volume grows, and you gain the experience to properly evaluate independent suppliers or even bulk production, which is the path I laid out in how to start a clothing brand in India. The full business process, from design research to ads, is in how to start a t-shirt business in India.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which is the best print on demand supplier in India?

There is no single answer for everyone, but Qikink is what we use in our own businesses, with reliable printing, COD collection, and remittance. Blinkstore, Printrove, and Vendorboat are the other established options. Order samples from two or three and judge quality with your own eyes.

How much does a print on demand supplier charge in India?

For a standard t-shirt with a two or three color A4 design, expect around 400 to 450 rupees all inclusive, printing, shipping, and GST. Rates vary with the printing method, screen, DTF, or DTG, and improve as your order volume grows.

How do print on demand suppliers handle COD orders?

Established fulfillment companies collect the cash from your customer on delivery and transfer your share to your bank account on a regular payment cycle, visible in your dashboard. This is one of the biggest reasons to start with an established company rather than a local printer.

How do I check a print on demand supplier's quality?

Order a sample to your own address. Pay the standard product cost, wear the product, and check fabric, print quality, positioning, packaging, and delivery time. Testing two or three suppliers side by side with the same design costs under 1500 rupees and answers every question.

Can I use a local supplier instead of a print on demand company?

Yes, and rates can be slightly lower. Find them through community recommendations, search, and Instagram. The trade off is automation, you will manage orders manually over sheets and messages instead of a connected app, so most beginners are better off starting with an established fulfillment company.

What products can I sell with Indian print on demand suppliers?

Far more than t-shirts. Established suppliers offer hoodies, women's tops and crop tops, kidswear, mugs, mousepads, posters, stickers, bottles, and more. T-shirts remain the best selling starting point, and you can expand the catalog once your store has traction.

What should I sell a print on demand t-shirt for in India?

Between 700 and 900 rupees. With supplier costs around 400 to 450, pricing below 700 leaves too little margin after ad costs. Customers pay 799 to 899 for designs they connect with, price for the market that exists, not for what you would personally pay.
